Come on out and have some fun at the Van Nuys Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon on Sunday 11/25! This is a fun run that is chip timed.  Official results will be posted in the evening after the event. 

 

This is an open course.  Please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the path.

 

* This is on Sunday 11/25/18 in Van Nuys.  Not on Thanksgiving Day.

 

Race day registration available -- 5k $30; 10k $35; 15k $40; Half Marathon $45

 

Course map: The course is super easy to follow.

Easy out and back course with one small hill about .6 miles from the start.   

 

5k (1 loop), 10k (2 loops), 15k (3 loops) with an aid station at every loop:

* Everyone must run/walk through the pedestrian tunnel!  Do not cross Woodley Ave!

 

Aid stations have water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, Gu gels.  Other snacks on the tables may include bananas, granola/snack  bars.

Participants are not allowed to run with dogs.  Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.

 

Everyone will get a finishers medal as well as a goodie bag without the bag.  We will have bananas, snacks, water, etc.  To keep costs low we do not offer any special awards or t-shirts. This is not your normal large festival like race.  We are a low key race that emphasizes a more personal satisfaction to racing.  Thank you and look forward to seeing you out there! 

 

Bibs must be visible in front or there might not be photos or results recorded.
