It's time for the Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, or Half Marathon on Thanksgiving Day 11/24/22!  This is a fun run that is clock timed (not chip timed).

This is an open course.  Please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the beach path.

100% FULL registration is closed.

 Course map: The course is super easy to follow.  It will consist of counter clockwise loops around the beach path that will be marked.

5k (1 loop), 10k (2 loops), 15k (3 loops) with an aid station at every loop:

Participants are not allowed to run with dogs.  Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.  3:15 time limit for the half marathon.  If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@yahoo.com for early start.

 

This is a small informal event.  Everyone will get a finishers medal as well as a goodie bag.  To keep costs low we do not offer any special awards or t-shirts. This is not your normal large festival like race.  We are a low key race that emphasizes a more personal satisfaction to racing.  Thank you and look forward to seeing you out there!

- 5k - 7:45AM & 9:30AM (Late start 5k non competitive family walk/jog, finish by 10:45AM)

Parking -  Meters on the street are free until 9AM. After 9AM, you are responsible to pay for the parking meter with quarters, or credit cards.  ** There is no street sweeping on Thanksgiving, but metered parking is still in effect.  Please check the signs on the meters to confirm.  You are responsible to pay for your own parking, read the parking signs.  The beach parking lot has an all day flat fee that can be paid through machine, or when the booth is open.  The price varies from $8-12 depending on the season.
