A Better World Running hosts the Long Beach half marathon, along with 15k, 10k, and 5k races, on a flat, fast course right along the scenic Long Beach shoreline. Since 2011 we've hosted more 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon races in Long Beach than anywhere else in Southern California — affordable, family-friendly, and welcoming to runners and walkers of every level.

Our races take place year-round at 5400 E Ocean Blvd — from summer beach dashes to Halloween and holiday fun runs. Whether you're chasing your first Long Beach half marathon finish or a new PR on our flat coastal course, there's always an upcoming Long Beach race to run.
