Simi Valley Races — 5k, 10k, 15k & Half Marathon
A Better World Running hosts affordable, family-friendly 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon races in Simi Valley at Rancho Simi Community Park. The course runs flat and fully paved along the Arroyo Simi Greenway, making it a fast, welcoming route for runners and walkers of every level — from first-timers to half marathoners chasing a PR.
The start and finish are on the grass beside the pickleball courts, just before the Greenway path, with restrooms right near the start. Parking is free, with the closest lot next to the pickleball courts, additional parking by the Rancho Simi Community Park pool, and more on the far side of the park near the kickball fields.
Getting there & parking
Rancho Simi Community Park is at 1765 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065, off Erringer Road and Royal Avenue. Parking is free. For the shortest walk to the start, use the lot nearest the pickleball courts; overflow parking is available by the community pool and near the kickball fields.
The course
Flat and fully paved along the Arroyo Simi Greenway — an easy, scenic out-and-back that's stroller-friendly and great for walkers, first 5k runners, and anyone wanting a fast, no-hills route. All four distances (5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon) run here.
