This is our most challenging course, and that's the point. Run primarily on trail with rolling hills and wide-open vistas, the Elysian Park route rewards runners and walkers who want more than a flat road race. Whether you're an experienced trail runner or looking for a beginner-friendly trail 10k to try something new, our races welcome walkers and runners of every level.

Elysian Park is one of LA's most storied running spots — its trails have long been used for cross country running in Los Angeles — and our races follow some of the scenic dirt paths through the park. All four distances — 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon — run at Elysian Park in Los Angeles, CA.
Getting there & parking
Parking is free at the Elysian Park Arboretum, with additional limited parking on Elysian Park Drive off Stadium Way. There's also a nearby lot at Academy Road parking near picnic site #4, a short walk from the start.
The course
Primarily trail, hard-packed dirt with hills and epic views. It's an open course, so please be courteous to other pedestrians and runners on the trail. The route is easy to follow, with out-and-backs marked by cones, signs, arrows, and spray chalk. The aid station sits at the turnaround by the start/finish.
