Trailsgiving is a Thanksgiving-season trail 5K, 10K, 15K and half marathon at Elysian Park in Los Angeles. Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The race starts at 8:00 AM, and bib pickup is on race morning from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
This is a true trail run on hard-packed dirt with some hills, so wear shoes you like on the trail. Every registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, live results and free photos. Runners and walkers of every level are welcome.
This is an open course. Please be courteous to other pedestrians and runners on the trail.
Course map: This is our most challenging course yet! Primarily on trail, hard packed dirt with hills. Some sections are more wide, some more narrow, but with epic views! The course is easy to follow with out and backs. It will consist of out and back loops on the park trail that will be marked with cones and signs and arrows and spray chalk.

When and where is Trailsgiving in Elysian Park?
Trailsgiving is on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Elysian Park, 1025 Elysian Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The race starts at 8:00 AM.
What distances and courses are offered?
We offer a 5K, 10K, 15K and half marathon. This is an open trail course, mostly hard-packed dirt with hills, with some wide and some narrow sections. Loops are marked with cones, signs, arrows and spray chalk. The 5K is one out-and-back route, the 10K is two 5K loops and the 15K is three 5K loops. The half marathon is three 4.36-mile loops. There is an aid station at the turnaround at the start/finish with water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups and GU gels. Please be courteous to other pedestrians and runners.
How much does it cost to register?
Race-day registration is $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, $45 for the 15K and $50 for the half marathon, paid by credit card, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. You can also register online through Race Ascend using the registration form on this page. Please choose one registration method only.
What is included in registration?
Every registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, live results the moment you finish, free photos found by bib number, free videos, race highlight reels, snacks and samples, and the free A Better World Running app. Age group awards are picked up at the race only and are not mailed. Groups of 3 or more get an automatic discount on Race Ascend, and larger groups can email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com to register together with one payment by Venmo or Zelle.
Where do I park?
Parking is free at the Elysian Park Arboretum. Limited parking is available on Elysian Park Dr off Stadium Way, and additional parking is in the Academy Rd lot near picnic site #4, a short walk from the start.
When and where is bib pickup?
Bib pickup is on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Please wear your bib visibly on the front so your photos and results are recorded.
Is there a time limit?
Plan to finish by 12:00 PM, which gives you 4 hours from the 8:00 AM start. If you need more time, email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com to arrange an early start.
Can I get a refund or transfer my registration?
There is a no refund policy. You can transfer your registration to a later race date or to another participant by emailing abetterworldrunning@gmail.com.
