Irvine Races — 5k, 10k, 15k & Half Marathon
A Better World Running hosts affordable, family-friendly 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon races in Irvine along the Santa Ana River Trail. With rolling hills and open trail scenery, it's a rewarding course for runners and walkers looking for a bit more challenge than a flat route — welcoming to every level, from first-timers to half marathoners.
The start, finish, and check-in are together, with park restrooms a short 5-minute walk (200–300m) away, plus additional restrooms at nearby San Marco Park.
The course
Rolling hills on the Santa Ana River Trail. This is an open course on a shared path — please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the trail. Courses are marked and easy to follow across all four distances (5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon).
Park restrooms are 200–300m (about a 5-minute walk) from the start/finish/check-in area. A second restroom is roughly 1km (0.62 mi) from the start at San Marco Park — there's a path from the race route into the park, about 200m (0.12 mi) off the shared trail.
