Welcome to the Fitsistership Empowher Herstory 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon on May 9th, 2026 at 8AM!
Fitsistership is a self-funded Pasifika health organization dedicated to providing resources, tools, and a fitness-centered community rooted in accountability, cultural connection, and holistic wellness. For the past six years, we have led transformational challenges that go beyond weight loss — focusing on spiritual growth, mental resilience, sustainable healthy habits, and cultivating lifelong sisterhood.
Through a well structured accountability system, we have supported hundreds of Pasifika women and men in reaching their health goals within a safe, empowering, and culturally grounded environment with Pasifika Fitness coaches that specializes with Nutrition, Fitness and Mental Health Coaches.
Our Empowher Herstory run/walk event taking place Mother’s Day Weekend, is a family-friendly event designed to celebrate women, honor mothers, and acknowledge the legacy we are building for future generations. This event also raises awareness about the importance of prioritizing our health and well-being as individuals and as a community.
Proceeds will directly support ongoing wellness programming, community events, and outreach
initiatives led by Fitsistership.

Event Details --
This is an open course. Please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the beach path.
Course map: The course is super easy to follow. It will consist of out and back loops on the beach path that will be marked.
* Aid station is at the turn around at the start/finish has water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, Gu gels.

Transfers only by emailing abetterworldrunning@gmail.com requesting a later date or transferring to another participant. There is a NO refund policy.
3:15 time limit for the half marathon and 15k. Finish by 11:15, or can start at 7:30AM. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.

Parking - Parking is free in the residential area. There is beach parking lot that is paid in advance by ticket machine or the app from https://www.passportparking.com/ ZONE 9732.

Kids 0-3 in strollers, do not need to register
Confirmation emails are sent to the email address associated with the PayPal/Venmo account. Please check the spam folder sometimes they are there. The confirmation emails are sent within 12 hours of registration, so it can be sent a few minutes or hours within registration.
All participants have to sign the waiver which can be found below and emailed to abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
Or we will have waivers to sign at bib pick up.
