It's time for the Thanksgiving 5k, 10k, 15k, or Half Marathon on Thanksgiving Day Thursday 11/28/24!

This is an open course.  Please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the beach path.

​

 Course map: The course is super easy to follow.  It will consist of counter clockwise loops around the beach path that will be marked.

5k (1 loop), 10k (2 loops), 15k (3 loops) with an aid station at every loop:

Everyone will get a finishers medal as well as a goodie bag.  Results will be posted on this page usually by the evening of the race day.  We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience.  Thank you and look forward to seeing you out there!

Wednesday 3-5PM at Crescent Bay Park - 2000 Ocean Ave. Santa Monica, CA (Off of beach path off of Bay St. & Ocean Ave. near Crescent Bay Park).  You can have one person pick up for your group

- half marathon, 15k - 6:20-7:20AM

- 10k - 6:20-7:20AM

- 5k - 6:20-7:40AM for 7:45AM wave only

- 5k - 9-9:30AM for 9:30AM wave only

- late turkeys 5k/10k 10:30-11AM for 11AM wave only (finish by 12:30PM)

Friendly reminders --

- please start in your correct start time or your time will not be recorded accurately

- please wear your bib visibly in the front or photos and time will not be recorded (no bibs on the back)

- please walk/run 2 people across on the path so others using the path can pass on your left

- it is a shared and open path so please do not block with 3-4 people across, please be mindful of others

Parking -  Meters on the street are free until 9AM. After 9AM, you are responsible to pay for the parking meter with quarters, or credit cards.  ** There is no street sweeping on Thanksgiving but meters are still in effect.  Please double check the signage where you park.  Give yourself extra time to park and pay for parking and then walk to bib pick up.  There is a second parking lot off of Bicknell as well.  The beach parking lot has an all day flat fee that can be paid through machine.  There is only one machine in Bicknell so there will be a line to pay for parking.  Give yourself extra time!  The price varies from $8-12 depending on the season.
